Welcome to K. S. College, Laheriasarai, Darbhanga Darbhanga

Established in 1970 in the name of Babu Veer Kunwar Singh, an epitome of bravery and a nationalist from the core, K S College Laheriasarai is a constituent unit of L.N Mithala University, Darbhanga. This college is situated on the junction of twin city of Darbhanga- Laheriasarai. Since its inception the college has travelled a long way in catering to the academic needs of the adjoining areas. The needs of the students in learning, academic planning, extra-curricular activities are the prime focussed area of this college. Consequently, the college has given a large number of students to serve the society as doctors, engineers, civil servants, academicians etc.

To cater to the needs of the society the college tries to revamp infrastructure & boost academic development. Stress on girl’s education, facilities to weaker section of students, minorities and differently abled students are on the top priority. To cope with the set ideals the college imparts teaching from intermediate to graduation in all traditional faculties viz. Arts, Science, Commerce, Humanities respectively with the help of teacher academicians of exceptions.

Directorate of Distance education, L.N Mithala University, Darbhanga has its study center in this college which gives the opportunities to the working people to enhance their academic qualification.
