Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College, Bettiah is a constituent unit of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur was established in 1975 imparting undergraduate teaching in B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com upto Honours level.

The multi faculty college is striving continuously for quality enhancement in academic atmosphere of higher learning. The College owns a vast campus spaciousbuildings, big and rich library, laboratories recognized for research, computer, facilities well equipped gymnasium, indoor stadium, girls common room etc. to facilitate effective academic activities. Qualified and efficient teaching and non teaching staff is always ready to take efforts for all-round development of the student. The N.S.S. unit and NCC Unit undertake various extension activities, awareness campaigns, extra curricular activities to inculcate civic responsibilities among the future citizen of India.

We are conscious of our social responsibility of providing value based education so that our young generation is well groomed to be better and cultured citizen of today and tomorrow capable enough to carry forward the message of goodwill by their deeds in whatever field of life they choose to perform and destiny places them.

RLSY College, Bettiah since its inception in the year 1975 has continued to strive for growth and development with a bright vision for future brilliance. The process of self-appraisal and improvement has to be constant feature for any institution for its growth and maintaining credibility.

Seven criterions provided by NAAC to understand and evaluate our performance have literally helped us in scrutinizing our strengths and weaknesses. We have been trying to achieve and come true to the expectations of the society as a whole with whatever limited means we have at our disposal and whatever more we can generate. Limitations are always there but quality cannot be compromised and commitment to improve upon the education standard remains constantly envisioned.
