A Little About Us
J.P. College, Narayanpur (Bhagalpur) was established in the year 1952. This college is situated in the area of socially backward, poor classes of people belonging to Minorities, Scheduled Castes, and Extremely Backward Classes. Somehow they manage school-level education at Narayanpur and at adjoining areas. The college is founded by Late Shivdhari Prasad Singh, a renowned freedom fighter & a friend of the great leader, Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan . The college imparts teaching in Arts and Science Streams and efforts are being made to start add-on courses like BBA, BCA etc. The college has grown rapidly by the sincere efforts of dedicated faculty members and staff. The large number of girl students admitted in the college is remarkable and it indicates the rapid increase in inclination towards the higher education among girls.
The accreditation by NAAC would further accelerate the process of development of the institution and we are looking forward with utmost regards for the peer team’s visit to the college.
